How do we work?

Her U.S. partner, Celia Stokes, works with clients to capture their requirements and communicate them to Ms. Schulten-Baumer. All options are discussed and decided upon. Clients either choose to take a trip to Germany to look at horses with Ms. Schulten-Baumer, or to entrust her with selecting a short list of horses that meet their requirements. In the latter case, they reach a decision through the use of video tapes and her counsel. We will work with you in completing all aspects of the sale, including vetting and shipping arrangements.

Training in Germany

Some clients choose to leave their horses in training with Ms. Schulten-Baumer for a period of time. She can accept a limited number of horses in training at any given time, and we would be happy to discuss details of these arrangements if you are interested.

Travelling to Germany

The trip to Germany is easy--just a little longer than the trip between the East and West coasts of the U.S.--and airfare prices are exceptionally low now.

You will fly into Frankfurt and travel by car about two hours north to the Bonn area. If you wish, we will make arrangements to pick you up at the airport. We can also make arrangements for your accommodations at the elegant, full service golf club hotel which adjoins the stable property. You will spend the next several days driving with Alexa around Germany to see many high quality horses. Depending on your time and your requirements, she will show you as many as 20-30 wonderfully talented and well-priced horses. Alexa's English is excellent, so you can be assured that every concern and inquiry will be answered to your satisfaction.
